From the desk of Sheriff Bryson Meyers:
The Garrett County Sheriff's Office is investigating a fatal incident involving a motor vehicle that claimed the life of 78-year-old Roberta Florence Kinser, of Oakland, Maryland on April 30, 2024.
Initial investigation revealed that Kinser was struck in her private driveway at approximately 0630 hours. Kinser was pronounced deceased at the scene by members of Garrett County Emergency Services. The investigation is still ongoing.
