From the desk of Sheriff Bryson Meyers:
On October 20, 2026, deputies arrested Michael Anthony Gilbert, 32 years old, on the strength of a District Court Arrest Warrant for Arson Threat. Gilbert was served with the warrant after being extradited back to Garrett County from Ohio. Gilbert was transported to the Garrett County Detention Center where he is currently being held without bond.
