On October 6, 2026, around 9:00 p.m., deputies responded to the 2700 block of Old Crellin Road, for a motor vehicle accident. As a result of the investigation, deputies arrested Levi Wade Sweitzer, 33 years old, Oakland, for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Sweitzer was transported to the Garrett County Detention Center where he was later released on his own recognizance after appearing before a District Court Commissioner.
