From the desk of Sheriff Bryson Meyers:
The Garrett County Sheriff’s Office recently added a 2026 Kawasaki Mule Utility Terrain Vehicle (UTV) to its fleet of emergency response vehicles. The new UTV will be used during special events, search and rescue operations, and emergency situations where traditional patrol vehicles are unable to safely access remote or rugged terrain. The UTV was purchased locally from the Aquatic Center in McHenry, Maryland.
Sheriff Bryson Meyers stated, "This UTV is another important tool that will enhance our deputies' ability to serve the citizens of Garrett County. Whether responding to emergencies in difficult terrain, assisting with search and rescue efforts, or providing support during community events."
