On July 10, 2026, around 2:00 p.m., deputies responded to the 5700 block of Garrett Highway for a motor vehicle accident involving a tractor trailer. As a result of the investigation, the driver of the tractor trailer, Trent Isaac-James Darville, 29 years old, Lambertville, Michigan, was transported to Garrett Regional Medical Center for treatment of injuries. Darville was subsequently charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and related offenses.
