On July 19, 2026, deputies arrested Douglas Steven Ferrante, 43 years old, Glen Burnie, Maryland, on the strength of a Washington County District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear. Ferrante was transported to the Garrett County Detention Center where he is being held pending a bond hearing.
