On June 20, 2026, around 10:00 p.m., deputies stopped a vehicle along Oakland Drive for traffic violations. During the course of the traffic stop, a Sheriff’s Office K-9 was utilized and conducted a K-9 scan of the vehicle resulting in a positive alert. A search of the vehicle revealed a quantity of methamphetamine and related paraphernalia.
The driver, Autumn Diane Dumire, 38 years old, Oakland, was arrested and charged with the following: • Possession of Methamphetamine • Possession of Paraphernalia Dumire was transported to the Garrett County Detention Center where she was later released on her own recognizance after appearing before a District Court Commissioner.
