On June 4, 2026, around 10:00 p.m., deputies stopped a vehicle along Foster Road for traffic violations.
As a result of the traffic stop and investigation, Douglas Eugene Ratliff, 62 years old, Oakland, was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and related traffic charges. Ratliff was transported to the Garrett County Sheriff’s Office and was later released after signing the citations.
