On June 23, 2026, around 3:00 p.m., deputies arrested Charles Raymond Housley Jr., 52 years old, Kitzmiller, on the strength of an arrest warrant from Mineral County, West Virginia. While attempting to make the arrest, Housley fled on foot and was apprehended a short distance later. A search of Housley revealed a methamphetamine smoking device. Housley was arrested and charged with the following: • Possession of Methamphetamine • Possession of Paraphernalia • Resisting Arrest Housley was transported to the Garrett County Detention Center where he is currently being held without bond.
