On May 4, 2026, Detectives with the Criminal Investigation Division obtained an arrest warrant for Raymond Adam Chillura Jr, 34 years old, Oakland, for violations of Maryland’s Sexual Offender Registration Status. Deputies located Chillura along Garrett Highway in the area of Timbrook Ford, and he was placed under arrest on the strength of the arrest warrant.
A search of Chillura revealed Methamphetamine and Drug Paraphernalia. Chillura was charged with the following:
• Failure to register as a Sexual Offender
• Possession of Methamphetamine
• Possession of Paraphernalia
Chillura was transported to the Garrett County Detention Center where he is being held pending a bond hearing.
