During the month of May 2026, deputies conducted an investigation into Violations of a Protective Order. On May 9, 2026, deputies located Jerry Lee Michaels, 54 years old, Kitzmiller, at a place he was not supposed to be at along Kitzmiller Road. Deputies placed Michaels under arrest for Violation of a Protective Order.
While arresting Michaels, deputies located methamphetamine and paraphernalia. Michaels was arrested and charged with the following:
• Violation of a Protective Order
• Possession of Methamphetamine
• Possession of Paraphernalia
Michaels was transported to the Garrett County Detention Center where he is currently being held without bond.
