Friendsville Man Arrested for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol

From the desk of Sheriff Bryson Meyers: On May 24, 2026, around 1:15 am deputies stopped a vehicle along Boy Scout Road for traffic violations. As a result of the traffic stop and investigation, Barry Arden Savage, 51 years old, Friendsville, was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and related traffic charges. Savage was transported to the McHenry Barrack and was later released after signing the citations.
