On April 20, 2026, the Garrett County Narcotics Task Force, with assistance from the Garrett County Sheriff’s Office and the Maryland State Police Strategic Operations Group West, executed a search and seizure warrant at a residence on Swanton Road.
As a result of the search and seizure warrant, Ryan Timothy Corby, 33, of Swanton, was arrested and charged with the following offenses:
-- Possession with Intent to Distribute Fentanyl
-- Possession of Fentanyl
-- Possession of Methamphetamine
Upon processing, the Fentanyl was determined to weigh approximately 11.9 grams, including packaging.
This quantity has an estimated street value of approximately $2,300. Corby was transported to the Garrett County Detention Center, where he is being held pending an initial appearance before a District Court Commissioner.
The Garrett County Narcotics Task Force is a cooperative enforcement effort between the Garrett County Sheriff’s Office, the Maryland State Police, and the Garrett County State’s Attorney’s Office.
