On April 4, 2026, around 4:00 a.m., deputies responded to the 1800 block of Memorial Drive for a motor vehicle accident. As a result of the investigation, Hayden Adam Loewendick, 22 years old, Lonaconing, was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and related traffic charges. Loewendick was transported to the Sheriff’s Office and was later released after signing the citations.
