Drug Arrest Following Traffic Stop
On March 6, 2026, at approximately 1:00 a.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle along Sand Flat Road for traffic violations.
During the course of the stop, a Sheriff’s Office K-9 was utilized and conducted a scan of the vehicle, which resulted in a positive alert. A subsequent search of the vehicle resulted in the recovery of Fentanyl and drug paraphernalia.
As a result of the investigation, the following individual was arrested:
• Emiley Yvonne Capel, 30, of Oakland – Possession of Fentanyl – Possession of Paraphernalia
Capel was transported to the Garrett County Detention Center, where she is currently being held pending a bond hearing.
