Deer Park Woman Charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol

From the desk of Sheriff Bryson Meyers: On March 12, 2026, just after midnight, deputies responded to Maryland Highway near Homewood drive for a motor vehicle accident, where the vehicle struck a tree. As a result of the investigation, deputies arrested Carla Jean DeWitt, 60 years old, Deer Park for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and related traffic charges. DeWitt was transported to the Sheriff’s Office and was later released after signing the citations.
