From the desk of Sheriff Bryson Meyers: 
On February 15, 2026 around 12:30 a.m., deputies stopped a vehicle along Nest Lick Acres Road for a traffic violation. During the course of the traffic stop, a Sheriff’s Office K-9 was utilized and conducted a K-9 scan of the vehicle, resulting in a positive alert. 
A search of the vehicle and occupants was conducted which resulted in the recovery of Fentanyl and paraphernalia. As a result of the search the following individuals were arrested:
▪️Matthew Harman White, 30 years old, Oakland. Possession of Fentanyl and paraphernalia.
▪️ Lindsay Nicole Naugle, 39 years old, Oakland.
Possession of Fentanyl and paraphernalia. Both White and Naugle were transported to the Garrett County Detention Center for processing. White is currently being held on a $5,000.00 bond and Naugle was released on her own recognizance after appearing before a District Court Commissioner.
