From the desk of Sheriff Bryson Meyers:
On February 11, 2026, around 7:00 p.m., deputies stopped a vehicle along Garrett Highway, near Pleasant Hill Circle for traffic violations. During the course of the traffic stop, a Sheriff’s Office K-9 was utilized, and a positive alert was obtained.
A search of the vehicle was conducted which resulted in the recovery of Cocaine, and Paraphernalia.
As a result of the search: Perry Eugene Hebb Jr., 33, Aurora, West Virginia, was arrested and charged with: Possession of Cocaine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Hebb was transported to the Garrett County Detention Center where he was later released on his own recognizance after appearing before a District Court Commissioner.
