On January 31, 2026, around 5:45 a.m., deputies responded to Mason School Road for a report of a vehicle parked in the middle of the road with no lights on. As a result of the investigation, deputies arrested Timothy Lee Petersheim, 37 years old, Oakland, for Driving Under the Influence. Petersheim was transported to the Garrett County Detention Center where he is being held awaiting a bond hearing.
