Sheriff Meyers and the Staff of the Garrett County Sheriff's Office would like to congratulate Lt. Dave Teets on his retirement, after serving and protecting the citizens of Garrett County for 25 years.
Lt Teets started his career as a Correctional Officer in the Detention Center, and later transferred to the road patrol. During his career, Lt Teets, served in the Narcotics Task Force, was a K-9 handler, and was promoted through the ranks, serving as the evening shift patrol commander.
