On September 15, 2025, a Grand Jury Indictment was obtained for an Eglon, West Virginia, resident for Distribution of Controlled Dangerous Substances. The indictment was obtained after a month-long investigation conducted by Detectives with the Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Task Force into the Distribution of Controlled Dangerous Substances in Garrett County.
On October 26, 2025, deputies served the indictment and arrested Jordon Lee Shaffer, 33 years old, Eglon, charging him with Distribution of Methamphetamine. Shaffer was transported to the Garrett County Detention Center where he was later released on an unsecured bond.
