On September 23, 2025, Detectives with the Criminal Investigation Division, Detectives with the Narcotics Task Force, and Patrol Deputies executed a Search and Seizure Warrant at an apartment along Meadowview Drive in Grantsville. The search warrant was obtained as a result of a combined investigation with Detectives and Investigators with the Department of Social Services, Child Protective Services.
As a result of the search and investigation, Detectives arrested Heather Nicole Baer, 29 years old, Grantsville, for Possession of Cocaine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Baer was arrested and transported to the Garrett County Detention Center, where she is currently being held pending a bond hearing. The investigation is ongoing, and further charges are pending.
