On August 7, 2025, deputies stopped a vehicle along Garrett Highway in Oakland for traffic violations. During the course of the traffic stop, deputies recovered over 3 pounds of marijuana from the vehicle. The driver of the vehicle, Nammer Abdo Pady, 28 years old, was arrested and charged with Possession With Intent to Distribute Cannabis.
Pady was transported to the Garrett County Detention Center, where he was later released on his own recognizance.
