UPDATE: JUVENILE HAS BEEN LOCATED AND IS IN CUSTODY.
The Garrett County Sheriff’s Office is currently searching for a juvenile who escaped from the custody of the Department of Juvenile Services in Oakland. There is no immediate threat to the public; however, citizens may see an increased presence of law enforcement in the Oakland, Mountain Lake Park and Loch Lynn areas.
