From the desk of Sheriff Bryson Meyers: On February 19, 2026, deputies were providing security at Southern Garrett High School for a basketball game. During the game, several fans were asked to leave due to disruptive behavior. At the conclusion of the game, a verbal confrontation took place amongst fans.
As a result, deputies arrested Sue Ellen Fleming, 45 years old, Morgantown, West Virginia, for Disorderly Conduct, Disturbing the Peace, and Failure to Obey a Lawful Order.
Fleming was transported to the Garrett County Detention Center where she was later released on her own recognizance after appearing before a District Court Commissioner.
