The Garrett County Sheriff’s Office is warning residents in the Grantsville area of a male posing as a First Energy employee asking to come inside houses to go over power usage. The attached picture is a person of interest. Residents are reminded that First Energy employees wear ID badges with their company name on it and photo. First Enegery does not send employees to houses to go over power usage. Please contact the Sheriff’s Office immediately if the individual comes to your address or if the person is observed in the area.
