Sheriff Meyers and the staff of the Garrett County Sheriff’s Office would like to congratulate Correctional Officer Trenton Tasker, who was recently recognized as the Garrett County Detention Center’s Outstanding Employee for the Second Quarter of 2025.
Trenton has been employed with the Sheriff’s Office for 18 months and is responsible for the safe, secure confinement of those committed to the custody of the detention center. During the second quarter of this year, Trenton recovered suspected Fentanyl from an arrestee that prevented it from being introduced into the facility.
Trenton is commended for his hard work, dedication, and commitment to this agency.
