On July 1, 2024, Detectives with the Criminal Investigation Division investigated an incident involving controlled dangerous substances and a minor child. As a result of the investigation, Detectives obtained an arrest warrant charging Lacey Michelle Tichnell, 41 years old, Loch Lynn, with Child Neglect and Contributing to the conditions of a child. Tichnell was arrested by patrol deputies on the strength of the arrest warrant and transported to the Garrett County Detention Center. Tichnell was later released on her own recognizance after appearing before a District Court Commissioner.
