Sheriff Meyers and the staff of the Garrett County Sheriff’s Office would like to congratulate Corporal Ayla Fulmer who was recently recognized as the Garrett County Detention Center’s Outstanding Employee for the 3rd Quarter of 2023.
Corporal Fulmer is the Standards Audit Coordinator and ensures that all documentation is kept in accordance with the Maryland Commission on Correctional Standards. Corporal Fulmer coordinates all transports to and from the Detention Center, has recently become a certified instructor, and is responsible for the annual training of all Correctional Staff.
Corporal Fulmer has been employed with the Garrett County Detention Center for 6 years.
